The past few weeks we have been receiving alot of questions in regards to our trilipo treatments (fat cultivation and body sculpting) and how they differ from cool sculpting. So we thought we'd write a blog about it for you.
Firstly what is cool sculpting and other cryo treatments. They work via paddles on a localized area. These paddles suction the skin in the selected area. Once there is sufficient suction there is a cooling of that area via a cryogen energy, this cools the skin to -10 degrees. At this temperature fat cells are separated and removed via the lymphatic system. This treatment only works on isolated pockets of fat, as well as needing to be consistent in physical activity and eating a healthy diet for it to achieve good results.
The trilipo treatment works very differently. Here at Boss Babes and Bro Code we use a Pollogen machine. There are two components which make this a successful treatment; RadioFrequency (RF) and Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA).
Together they Release liquid fat from the fat cells, Remove the fat through lymphatic drainage and Reshape the body by reducing localized fat and tightening the skin.
The RF is what we refer to as a tripolar RF which means it releases a controlled energy to the upper and lower layers of the skin but only in the local area of treatment. The energy will warm the skin surface to approx 42 degrees. This is where majority of the action begins with stimulating collagen production and increasing circulation. While the skin is at this temperature the DMA is stimulating muscle tone, metabolizing fat, increasing circulation, and stimulating the lymphatic systems.
All this action is what makes the trilipo treatment so unique that it can sculpt the body, reduce cellulite and reduce fat. Best of all just about anyone can have it and you can still see good results if your are only just beginning your exercise journey. Lastly you will see results STRAIGHT AWAY however they will look even better after 24 hours!!
We recommend 6 treatments over 6 weeks for best results. The below picture is after 1 treatment.
